Just been for a drive down to freds and back, to get the timing tools and pick up some DS2500 front pads.
Will be fitting those some time soon, but now I have the timing tools, its about time something new was fitted :evil:

Was great, car drove well and didnt have any problems!
Few videos...one from the front bumper bullet camera, recorder was about to die though and there is no sound....but I have a good session with some 1*2's...

Had a really good few days down at Brands Hatch earlier this week for the RenaultSport trackday that was taking place there. Quite a few members off here, and other forums were in attendance....met some new faces, and caught up with old ones too...

car ran brilliantly. it did around 150laps over the day...700 miles from leaving my door and just arriving home.

Nah, DIY. TVR filter (as the valver lot use), and two 172 90* elbows back to back, 70mm hole in the bulkhead to the scuttle area and its spot on....the noise inside is epic!

Finally got the suspension at a height im happy with on the front, camber setup, top mounts set and then the tracking sorted, drives nice now. Also swapped the master...
ecu unlocking isnt an issue really....30 quid on an emulator, solder it on, then 75 quid to virginise it and itl be spot on forever...

as said....mine didnt have ABS.....all non-abs master cylinders are the same we think over the mk1 range...
Went on a lengthy drive earlier, pedal is as it was when i first bled it so its defo sorted :)

Technically everything is new component wise....master cylinder seems fine....suspension and tracking properly setup, spanner checked the whole bay/suspension yesterday and its all good...
So hopefully itl drive well for brands next wednesday...

Up at renault this morning, new clutch cable £20, fitted and spot on.....
Then down to the scrap yard, non-abs master cylinder from an old 1.4 clio, £5...Fitted to mine after a bit of effort in...
