I think there agreat funny cars.
There one (not the hi top version) which the owner convererted to a 1liter or something superbike engine and gearbox mounted mid engine would be great fun. Looksed externally the same.
Sounds like it went on the same chassic jig mine did it might have been infact as it was sent down south tobe done.
He's right though same shell measurments on the V6 I'll send them to yo if I can find them was only looking at the the other day.
I like the 1.2 16V cars there fun hammer them to the limiter and you won't be doing the same speed as a 172 but least if the police pop out of the hedges you won't get a load of points on your licence.
BUy a whole doner car not jsut the engine if someone willing to fit it for £50 he doesn't know what he's doing most likly you need the wiring intercooler gearbox etc thats whay your best buying a whole car and sell the bits you don't need IMO.
The ECU knows how much fuel its injected via the injectors as it tells the car how much fuel to inject.
The speed signal goes to the ECU from the ABS systems on the cars without gearbox sesnors
The fuel tank sensor tells the trip how much fuel is in the tank and the trip internal closck notes...
Overstear is when the car tunr understear is when it does you had overstear
Don't lift or get your foot back on to ballance the car or learn how to do lift off overstear its not easy with drive by wire though.
If you own a phase 2 and its not a 172/182 or derivative then 18k or 2 years whichevers earlier
If you own a 172/182 derivative then its 12k or 2 years.
Howeves I'd change the oil at least once extra between the normal service minimum.
This isn't finished as I've yet to work out the switch looks like you need a new one
Guide to making the electric windows on a Mk2 phase 2 one touch on both sides.
First thing to remember is its not worth the hastle but if you do want to you need to check firstly thsat you have a N3 level...
Nope it will fit in the Mk1 engine bay if you wanted. I measured up the 1.9 engine and that will fit with a modification to the fuel pump into a Mk2 shell.
Chnaing the CV joint isn't worth it changing shafts much better idea.
Easy to do best get a new nut though 30mm and you should replace them every time some new shafts come with new bolts.
Remove center cover of the wheel
Loosen the 30mm nut in the cenet of the wheel.
Losen the wheel...
Its your fluid that needs bleeding front and rear won't cost more than £40 at a garage you can do it yoursefl even if you have to buy the kit for £25 or so.
You need to bleed the fluid and stick some better stuff in it if tyour peds goes to the flor and nothing happnes assuming there no other problems.
I had to do a track day at Bedford before I faded my brakes and even then the pads had done about 8 track days and the fluid was only the stock...
PM me your email address I'll send you some files about the dci fault finding etc.
The sensor down by the gearbox to ngine joining point at the top of the gearbox.
