Cheers guys, good to meet those of you I haven't met before! Fun little blast along the coast road too!
Few pictures from the sea front:
Look forward to the next one! Can't remember who suggested it, but doing something at Snetterton could be cool. Nice run up the coast when we get...
I totally get that and, in terms of driving enjoyment, I would be 100% with you, handling over power any day. However, most real world driving isn't about threading a car anywhere. In the real world, good mid range grunt and comfort is much easier to live with for most people.

@T9 0LLE or @182_steve could one of you PM me your mobile number? Will hopefully be about but might be a bit late, so if you could keep me posted about where you are, that would be spot on
There is a lot of sense in this. I do really like the 197/200, they are great cars and, if I wasn't doing many miles, I would certainly consider one. However, the above is true, modern turbocharged cars do make so much sense in the real world. Had many a debate with vtec fanboys I know who claim...

Because it's a discussion forum and there are no rules saying you're only allowed to post if you're blowing smoke up someone's arse? I'm not being rude or offensive, just expressing an opinion, so relax.
At the Nurburgring currently, came as a passenger in a mates 197. I liked it when he first got it, I like it even more now. Refinement and comfort are on another level compared to a 1*2, but it's still really capable on track, feels super planted and seems to be taking loads of abuse. And his is...
