There are some really lovely Meganes about. For Clio money, you'd get a lovely 275 I guess. Would have a decent bit of warranty too. Might be worth trying one if you can.
Drive one. People seem to love them or hate them. There is a lot of nonsense around surrounding it, i.e. people saying it's s**t without ever having driven one, so the best thing to do is try it yourself.
I drove one and wasn't really a fan, but some people seem to really like them.

Yeah but this is only a pretty regular 182 in a slightly fancy colour. Cup pack is hardly rare. I think they're probably both a bit crap if we're really honest 😂
I think I must be tight, but I'd struggle to justify paying money like that for a 13-year old boggo Clio. Paid £1350 for my 172 Cup about 3.5 years ago with similar mileage and in better condition than that one sounds. I do like a 1*2 but values seem bit strong for my tastes. That's 197 money now.
I absolutely get this. I am totally over having old cars for daily duties. Having leased for a year, although it does cost more, it's just so nice knowing that you can jump in, everything will work and you don't have to think about it. Hassle free motoring is where it's at. Didn't go lease this...
The pedal box in my Escort is an absolute t**t to adjust when you're laying under the dash, let alone in the seat, so I think I am safe from that perspective at least. The roll cage stuff is ridiculous however. I'm restoring an old 90s F2 car and am unlikely to get it logbooked this year, so...
