Nope a cage is a cage. In mine 2 points are welded in and 4 points bolted but they realy should be welded in all points.
No point going for a show cage IMO (each to ther eown but a rear cage does nothing) go for a full cage or forget it for the ligweight option.
I'd go no bigger than 16's and 15's are great the Williams and even the race cars had 15's.
Cup systle multispoke slloys or the Williams gold looks stunning.
I got mine with the car it was a Safety Devices weld in 6 point one. Its a apin to get in and out but I'm a bit lazy. Cost new was £350 or £400 i've a reciept somewhere.
There no real need for one unless you do hard track day driving. If your tall like me its handy as the car when it crushes on...
Modern CLios share the same box the dci 65 and 1.6 16V run the same type box the 172 runs the Williams style box along with the dci 80. However the new cars don't have the same output sensors so you'r best sticking with the easy option.
£60 for the disks from Halfords etc then £40 for standard Renault parts (best all round realy unless you have problem with fade then upgrade to ds2500's at £85 or so)
Renault have quoted you for £80 disks (thats about there list price)
£40 for pads
1.5 hours labour at £60 an hour plus £10...
285mm disk on stock calieprs is the limt realy behind 15's I used to have them and there wasn't much space with aftermarke calipers there more space but 300 would be pushing it IMO I'm not sure they'd fit.
Best idea is to mark up where the catch is and copy the measurments up to the new bonnet. Then all you have to do is make sure you bolt it up in the places marked on the bonnet.
Its a pain to do right only 4 bolts hold it on and you cannot do it worng just keep lowering it lifting it adjust etc.
You'll need somoen or best two people to hold it whilst you undo the bolts etc.

I take it your going for a custom remap as there no point otherwise. The lag from an intercooler won't make any difference the 80dci and 100 run intercoolers with no more lag than the 65.
I'd imagine the new wheels are wider?
if so then the setup might always have been like that a bit.
As for jacking
This picture should give you an idea.
Jack on the bit in red if your colour blind I've arrowed it in yellow as well. Don't jack and further forwards (marked in light blue) as...
Its not very good.
It looks great behind wheels but the pads arn't that good I had total fade on track before.
The disks are more prone to cracking than normal ones.
DS2500 pads for £80 or so and normal disks, uprated braded lines ns good fluid is much better.
Or if you realy want to stop 4...
