The dialogue CDs on ebay are about 18 month old and don't even cover the 182.

To be truely correct you need to have the car height measured and set up off that not just of what it is like standing still as full of fule etc will affect the setup if you want to get truly accurate.
All the tanks usable.
It works off the output from the fuel tank sensor in Ohms the light comes on or should come on at 5 liters remaning but the sensors accuracy isn't stunning so it can be between 4 and 6 or so.

The limiter can only adjust the throttle so going uphill you were on full throttle but the engine coundn't make enough power to do 30.
Going downhill the throttle shut but it wasn't enough to slo the car down

Why would he hook it up to the laptop just because he couldn't start it once?
The system need a delay to make sure the key code imobiliser is the same as that stored on the ECU and UCH.
Thats anot a bad price I'd usually say change all the locks or some a breakers have in stock but for the hastle its not worth it.
You can fit it yourself the barrel that is for less than £70 don't take to long I've got the insructions somewhre or if not the haynes tells you how to do it only...
Have a fiddle around pushing the bonnet up and down and side to siede.
mine did it for some time got Renault to fix it it just needed lubricating and geasing up the lock and a adjustemnt of the catch.

It sounds like the common problme of the lambeda sensor coming loose or braking.
So long as its just that I wouldn't worry but get it to a dealer ASAP just incase.
Hum the main seal they mean the big one on some internal thingie?
Thsta weel overpriced inless you live maybe in longer where rates are much higer.
To change the clutch on a valver you've got to move the gearbox and engine seperate so you could chnage the seal then so I'd think more like...
The Clio CAN networks different so normal software won't do much.
The port is under the ashtray take the asktray out and you'll see a little plastic cover covering the connector.
The availiale software only works on upto 1998 models I belive the only one which does it all is the offical...
The dialogues you have are about 2.5 yrs out of date the prices have changed since then the Williams now are £200 +11 for the center bit.
Some mk1 172's have that code its typical Renault being difficult there loads and loads of 172 Clio codes if you look around.
