    Definatly change the shocks as well. Apex do a good value springs and shocks. However Fk coilovers are better as you have the ability to lower the car as you want.

    Middo the subframe (I'm assuming this this tense) refers to the front engine subframe ie what the suspension is bolted to. If so them yes it should do the later cars shame a common subframe. A 98 to 182 frame might need the greabox mounts drilling so the extra gearbox to subframe mount will fit...

    Definatly get matching dampers and springs (or coilovers), springs alone I don't rate very highly. Apex do a good vbalue springs and damper kit selection but FK coilovers are the popular choice as they give you the option of fixing the height as you want/need.

    182 dash/ warning lights

    Not worth it economically. The RS isn't a mass seller compared with the normal modele and since they'd need to design and produce a whole new dash for such a relitivly small and short run there no value in it.

    Check the wiring but basically if the sensors not putting out the right resistance hen its at fault if it is then you'll have fn tracking the wiring back through the door out through the rsubber sel on the door round the dash to the outside air temp and UCH. To chek it you need a multimeter set...

    8mm sump square sump nut you need to undo both bolts. Theres no issue so long as you use original Renault parts.

    Its the imobiliser backets its a common failing and will be fixed under warently. I'd get it done quick as its annoying when it fails (the problems you are seeing now are related to this).

    New sensor but first remove the passengers side cover and check the ssnor works I've done a posts reciently on what the values should be to a check for all posts started by me recietly.

    The engine allowed to burn under Renault spec 1 liter ever 600 miles. SOme people have had dodgey sensors get it chnaged under arently assuming you still have one.

    ESP and crusie control was added at about 53 plate although some cars weren't registered till later so some 53 reg 172's don't have cruise.

    Look at the 172 guide its exactly the same thing or else do a search for a post by me I wrote a big guide on how to do it without pictures though.

    Ring Renault Uk they will tell you if its an import. You can usually tell as imports don't have etced glass. Tesco usually very competitive. Unfortunatly for the best quote you have to ring loads of places.

    The only place I'd ever recomed is a normal Renault one. J3ned on here might be able to sell you one for less than Renault prices

    Depends what you cna get personally I'd go for a cheap 172 maybe Mk1 as they do have advantages then get 182 coilovers and hubs for the 182 handling the extra hp is neglectable.

    To get the 182 front bumper you need the 182/172 wings as well also the side skirts realy as it looks wrong. You alos need to sort out the inner arches either buy them or accepot you won't have any arches and make sure you underseal everywhere under there with protective stuff ever 6 months or...

    Unfortunatly I don't know anyone over your way who does them a local garage cna do them though it only takes 40 minutes to do pads then say 20 to do the bleeding (I'd definatly recomend you do) and maybe another 15 to swop the disks (assuming you need new disks). Arr right if you do motorway...

    Thats such an annoying car just one off and thats it. I need to get a wheel do you have one I'm cheap but the throttle and stearing inputs aren't that good on the controller. I take it you do mean a wheel is quicker?
