The rear brakes do very little even more so for Cup owners due to the setup.
There more lilkly to rust before they need replacing for anyone who doesn't drive the car hard.
VVt has nothing to do with the kicks in power. VVT switches on above 1.65k and off at 6.5k under certian conditions its tha cams fueling and changing of mapping from open to closed loop which makes the power kick.
Will have to wait to find the spec of the new RS then it sounds like I only would want to go to LPG if it has a spare wheel well as I'd carry a spare anyway I don't want to have a 182 type booth with a huge gas tank and a spare tyre there would be no space left.
For now the best idea is to ring the AA and get them to take your car to Renault.
You have a few options
1) Brand new set of locks £190 for the locks then £100 for programming probably (2 sets of keys you'd get) and get Renault to fit them. (probably £200)
2) Just order 2 new keys using the...
The chip is used more by the Cup owners.
Its supposed to give a few more hp 8k redline and frees up the mid rnage but it depends on the cars modifications.
It won't give a huge amount of power but then again little does on the engine.
The key is a 2 part thing the metal bit which assuming you don't want to go changing barrels etc (£160 or so) is £40 a metal key I think but it takes a few daays to order from France.
The remote bit needs to be programmed from a dealer (approx £100 all in a key) with a blank fob you'll need to...
52 mm was a common size, 54mm is a bit rarer 58 was for the bigger engines cars and the modern cars.
I'd personally be tempted to get the 54mm hbs for both sides or whatever size they have in stock (even bigger engines ones particually if you can get the calipers as well) and buy some...
Just so you know its actually ilegal to have one. Theres a rule in the rules of the road which say you have to be in control of a running car at all times therefroe starting one on public ground is ilegal.
Rear shims from Yozzasport or Renault sport but there for the racers only so although they have part numbers there difficult to order from a dealer in the UK.
Camber bolts front ktec etc they should know the size etc to order. There shouldn't be much difference they cost a lot to make.
Nothing sounds silly if you don't know the answer.
See the attached photos the black lines ignore its just a picture I had to hand. The lines you want to look at are the red ones the red circles are where the bolt goes the distance is between the yellow spots .
Something to live with unfortunatly the realy are noisy.
You can adjust the sensitivity of the wipers by twisting the inner bit of the stalk.
Make sure the senors and wipers are clean though if you get grease on them it will mess them up.
You measure from the center of the top to the center of the bottom bolt.
Spacing will be either 52, 54 , or 58mm's
Yep new hubs come with new bearings.
