Its a 6 hour driving cousr showing you driving at night on motorways etc many companies give you the equivalent of 1 yrs NCB for this you'll still only have 1 yrs NCB after the policy has ended but next year your a year younger so the policys less.
HIC won't realy be competitive they let you do...

Probably there as a comparison against the new Clio maybe for journalists to compare.
I love these pics...
The extra mount the Mk1 Clios use is what the 172/182 use as standard.
Renault dealer will have a pain trying to get hold of race car parts but they can if they wanted to get them.
You can get replacment Renault pads and new disk for about £110 including delivery (probably about £100 is you pick them up from the shops) which are great value and there very good. I'd do it myself personally least then you know what your looking for and you'll learn how to do it in future...
If you have disks thinner than whats set them its a bit difficult. According to the MOT (cars under 3yrs old don't have Mot's as there deemed to always pass) they just hve to work if they work then thats fine. However if insurance cheak and there under the Renault tolerances they could...
Forget the Williams there group 17 for me its £1.2k (ok its modified) at 23 (32yrs NCB) on THFT. Even unmodified I'm looking at over £800.
Don't go on your parents insurance its stupid build up your own NCB. Do your pass plus then check about I got an R reg Escort 1.4 8V group4 which was...
Sorry didn't make it clear
Yes its still covered under warently mine went in 3 days or so before its warently ran out with on issue.
There different fixes the last one is called level 2 it consists of them stripping down the sunroof and replacing all the seals, its the most extreme thing they...
Do an Omar to the engine mount so it hold the rubber mount tighter best stick some copper grease in there and if you can some harder rubber or get a new rubber mount.
Not much can be done with the gearbox one though.
You already have the second one the WIlliams/16v owners use to tigthen up the...
Won't make any HP difference.
Strip the car out, tunning box maxed out (will affect the engine though life wise)
Thats about the best you can do.
Stick with the standard option there no need to uprade.
Forget it.
The parts are say £700 then another £1~1.5k fitment if you find a despirate garage. Then you still need to get Renault to set the ecu up so thats proably an extra £500.
I don't think this is the same one.
225hp though hum that will be quick.
I'm glad he didn't sell its an amazing car and he's a good driver would seem a shame to seperate the two of them.
Just another 20k and I'll tell you about the head. Interestingly thats just after cambelt I wonder is some garages are doing somehting wrong so they break 3k later or there abouts
My injectors are fine on 55k and the engines driven hard.
Anyway new /second hand engines cheapish or just go...
Minimum disk thickness is 21.8mm I think from memeory new there 24mm.
Pads minimum thickness is 6mm i think (not including the metal plate bit).
Sounds like you had the same issue as I had with the Williams I (well the garage as I'm lazy) replaced the master clyinder the pads the bleed...
To get the pads out just pull them out they can be a bit tight so I use a screwdriver but I change the disk most times as well so disk damage isn't a huge worry.
No need for the brake stuff its supposed to help reduce rattling though.
Some more info in these posts...
Depends on service 12/24/48/60k are £200~£250 depending where you go.
36k is £100~150 or so more as you need the aux belt changing.
72k is £600~700 or so.
Then again I'me very tired so i could be wrong.
Do a serch on autotraders.
Theres a dci on there 65hp model with 72 kit and wheels cat D writeoff with under 20k on the clock for £3.3k thats better value IMO.
There even a 02 reg with 100k for £2.6k that a fair few less miles.
I'd pay £2k no more.
My cars the same age spec but 65hp engine and was offered £3.3k 6 month ago trade in.
Assuming the engines been serviced should be no issue mines on 55k and its fine and its been killed more than any driving car has.
The only thing is the engine is expensive to repaire...
Might as well get new disk £50 from Halfords (make sure they sell you the right sizzed 259mm ones not the 238mm ones as they always do).
To check the disk either look for deep scratches if there are any where the pad and disk contact chnage them. If there a lip on the disk ie its different...
