The 1.2 16V model has more issues with it but nothing huge.
Highest spec is the Privage but thats a luxury spec the dynamic + is the highest sporty specification.
I've not had any problems with mine ok parts have worn out at this recient service (suspension bits) but its down to use and it...
I quite like it it has some points where the Mk2 and mk1 are better (gearbox mainly) but its a different car its bigger more grip, more modern and heavier.
I'm waiting for the 197hp RS which is due out for the new registration in September expect test drives in the spring.
The seat is probably repairable a new airbag is £150 or so though. Interiers on Ebay are just that interiers no seats usually as people know what there worth.
£45 for a wing
Airbag computer £300 plus £50 setup from Renault (approx)
Bumper should be repairable but it isn't sitting right so I'm...
Nope I used 32mpg for the petrol and 55 for the diesel.
The Yaris disels is vry economicla my brothers got one but I much prefere my car for some reaosn the Yaris his does seem to get about 5~10mpg more but I've not driven it and done mp test but it is a lighter car.
Just read up you have to sit in the car with the doors closed then turn the ingition on then of then on then off again. You have to do this in under 7 seconds. Then when you get out and lock the car the lights shoudl flash twice and the beep 4 times. This will show that the interier sensors are...
The motion sensors are the ones on the door pillars.
The alarm should have been fixed but if not there are some common fixes.
1) Swop the two wires from the door pillars this reduces the sensitivity from 80 to 20%
2) Close the air vents and angle thm away from the sensors.
You can lock...
Just to give you some idea although your figures depend how you drive, the harder you drive the less miles before a dci becomes economical,
Using the figures I'd get with petrol vs dci.
Dci about £1.1k more expensive (£1k list +£100 interest on loan over 3 yrs).
To do 10k in a petrol will...
I much prefere dcis to petrols.
You have to drive them both to compare them. In my opinion you have to take inot account fuel prices etc with a 1.2/1.4/1.6 vs dci (as there still not hugly quick so why not go the whole hog to 172/182) the RS is a different ketle of fish as there no dci...
You might have trouble finding a garge to do clutchs most places won't touch a 1.8/2.0 Mk1 but ring around and you should find one who will do it for about £300 all in.
WHen you say Ratchet I take it you mean the tensioner on the pedal?
£700 stupid money the parts are £60 or so. Howver its...
yep pull the box to the side undo the hub nut and pull the box out.
Its DIY in the way if you want to try and rewire a house its not impossible just follow the manual but it can be annoying.
Lets see if it makes it to car of the decade and beats the Williams. If so then that would be a good show but then again surly Renault given 10 years could beat perfection. (only kidding)
Superb car though maybe next year.
Bobbywhacker you cannot but the stuff it has part numbers but Renault...
1) Blistein but there expensive FK are a good balenced product though.
2) 15's preferably but 16's are the maximum unless you just want looks IMO.
5) How much do you want to spend a custom remap will get you about 110hp. Personaly if you want to tune a tunning box from www.mrhoot.com makes...
Wait a second is everone on about the threads fitting? Rarther than the head design?
If so yes any Clio bolt will fit any Clio the desinged of the heads is different though.
54mm for your hubs.
Renault Manchester should know its on there stupid computer system lazy lot.
58mm hubs are the ones fitted to dci's 1.4 and 1.6's none Renault sport Mk2 phase 2 and 3 Clio's.
Some Mk2 phase 2's have 52mm but its rare.
Its definatly 54mm though
This driving of other cars 3rd part usually has some other terms and condition ie you have to be over 25 or the car has to be ownered by someone else or has to be insured by someone else.
Reliability depends if you get a good one and how its treated mine been very relaible its just other things I've done to it which can make it annoying.
best have a look at http://www.williamsclio.co.uk/ there a load of owners on the forum.
Superb cars though I love mine I prefere the standard...
Definatly worth it I'm going to do it on my car. You could realy tell the difference when I did it on my Williams.
Royal Purple is apparently the best stuff you can get but its expensive. I used Millers 75/90 in my car and its superb though.
