It depends some companies are cheaper than others.
Best try Adrian Flux they are usually the cheapest but depends now many modifications Tesco can be good value with a few modifications.
You could but you'd lower all ratios and I don't see any real point. Also the 1.4 gearbox isn't as stong so you'd prbably break it. I don't have the gearbox ratio stuff to hand but I think it would be lower.
Yes, although most people set to one height and never adjust it so its not an issue.
The back is fixed though so no adjustment availiable (you can use shims but you shouldn't need to).
Standard Halfords pads are fine I've used them for years on my car without any fade. I use the more expensive pads of the two they sell as there still only £17 and £1 more than the chapest.
Changing pads is easy though.
Loosen brake reservior top.
Jack car up remove wheels.
Undo the two...
Nope you shouldn't jack on those points at all you can with the right stands hold the car on those points.
You need to jack behind the thingie your jacking on. I jack on the bit so that the jack corner is up against the metal bracket your jacking on.
You cna jack on the sills safly so long as...
Yep it will leave some wires but Andi does a good job of hiding them My WIlliams had one fitted but looking at it you cannot tell it has been done unless you know about it.
Not worth it IMo.
Get some standard disk or Brembo one which have a handly wear indicator DS2500 pads, braided hoses and good fluid and it will be much cheaper (£200 or so) and be much better. I don't like disks with groves in them it only ever seems to lead to cracking in hard use.
You mean the washer jet bottle? If so then I don't see it being warently as is most likly done to you not filling it with windscreen wash so its frozen and cracked.
Its sort of oil filter etc howver they check a few other bits and pieces.
Personally I'd go to Renault for the first service you can get it done for £100 or so and its not going to be a huge amount cheaper from a garage.
Yes though so long as you use official Renault parts and the book is...
If the code in your book doesn't work and you think its not the standard one then your stuck take the radio out you might find the number printed on it but beyond that you don't have a chance.
You can do it I've been looking at at reciently.
However you need quite a few bits and sensors and for an easyish install you need to bodge a few things probably.
Just drive with more care none ABS isn't as safe IMO for 99.999% of people regardless of what people say.
Nope tell them to ring Cobra as they should do if they have a problem they don't know how to fix.
I think there is a tech note but I cannot remember my own phone number let alone technical note numbers.
Try another dealership or do the modification yourself.
Any dealer who fobs you off with...
Swop the interier sensor wires round is the easy way to reduce sensitivity from 80 to 20%.
No idea why some cars do and some don't I'd suspect some installers (Renault UK cars are done where there imported on the docks) put th wires the other way round from new.
Its a Cobra alarm though.
Best and easiest way is to put thr wheel on full lock and then have a look at the strut (ie the bit with the spring on it on the suspension) where this attaches to the part by the wheel (known as the hub) there are two bolt holding it on measure the distance between these two bolts.
Best talk to BenR on here. I'd think the best route is his level 2 manifold work (or new manifold if he gvets round to mking it) cams ahead work bigger injectors exhaust and Ik and you'll be looking at 210~220hp depending.
Not very good typing sorry.
A smaller tyre might kick up a problem with the ABS as it will turn at a different rate so either unplug an ABS sensor and the system will go to none ABS mode or drive carefully (which you should od anyway with a spare different sized wheel).
Stick any CLio tre and wheel in the boot its no problem.
A 16 inch wheel with the same sized tyres is the best idea but its expensive (£130 for a tyre is stupid you get can thm for £90 I think).
You need a minimum of a 15 inch to get to fit on the front around the brakes but if you get a 14...
90Nm officially.
I use 105 on both the Mk1 and Mk2's though.
Be careful using lots of grease as its whole point is to lubricate stuff so that it can slide ie come undone. I've had premature experiance with this.
I don't notice any real difference on 2 meg apart from big files downloading faster.
3gb is a reasonable allowance depends what you do I don't want to think what my downlaod is like I'd guess from past experiance 50 gig or so but I download loads of stuff the pcs on almsot all the time.
Its a dealership thing you need the wires for the sensors swopping round to reduce there sensetivity.
Best idea for the moment is to close the air vents and angle the door pillar sensors away from any noise.
Its just there quite a few Mr Newmans in Chester (192.com search).
If its not collected by next week you'll vouch that my names Mr Newman won't you?
Nope its not sick just servicing. £40 for a check on warently work pah I'm going to leave the problems till them make the car break I think.
What fuel have you been running the car on that can make a difference.
The wetaher will affect it though.
200 miles to a tank though? I start to get worried when I've only 200 miles left in a tank.
