A flat battery would make it difficult to start this sounds more like either a poor earch on the central locking or more likly a new pliper barrery being needed.
Yep it might have been H and R.
The only 182 suspension kits which are availiable are coilovers from

Omar, I need you car for 3 month research and development whilst I'm fitting them and need to go some (4k) or slow development driving miles, you don't...
Nope, the engine can cut fueling if its slowing down but the inertia of the car is slowing down. If your slowing down best do it with your foot of the clucth and use engine braking once you put your foot on the clucth the engine needs fuel to keep it going.
The best idea is to use the stock clutch its u to the task no problem and is one of th ebst build quality wire. Most of these armerket uprated ones are no better in strength and harder on the gearbox and your foot.
Your using fuel but not going anywhere so your MPG will drop down. Even when your at 7.2 in first your still moving so your mpg is better.
infact when you stop mpg is miles (ie 0) drivided by fuel burn which cannot be done.
This is for the Mk2 Clio owners only.
Once you have set an airbag or pretensioner off no other airbags or pretensioners can be set off. The computer is useless the light will stay on on the dash.
If you have had an airbag or pretensioner activated you have only a few ways of getting rid of...
The light is indicating the engine imobiliser is still on hence a problem with the ekys or transponder. I'd try a new battery in the remote (ask at halfords they will often do the swop for free).
The only decient Renault diagnostic software is the Clip laptop as used by dealers but its £2.7k or so (still it comes with a free laptop).
Check your ABS sensors and rings on the wheels firstly. then brake level bleed the calipers. Then take it to Renault it sould be about £25~50 depends on...
Its often the sales book which is wrong not Demon tweeks they don't know the ins and outs of every car. H and R or another company still list a 182 kit but its a 172 kit which doesn't fit cupped 182's
Safty devices have gone and moved prodcution they are probaly under new managment etc and moving ti poland or wherever in a restructuring bid ie make them cheaper so you can still contact them.
The alarm fitted to all Clio's is made by Cobra it can be Renault branded though. Also the Cobra alarm can be modified by dealers so although the notes below hold true if the alarm has been modified by Renault then some of the times etc may not be the same.
How to tell if there is one fitted...
See this link for what needs to be done.
You should be able to get it done cheaper, ring a few dealers and play them off should be about £160.

Oil is 5-40 I'd recomend Silkline pro that seems to be given rave reviews so well worth a few...
I pay £25 a month for 100 minutes any time and 5000 or 1000 txt (no idea I've never found out how many). thats anormla 02 taffif I think. I'm going back tp pay as you go I think though as its better value.
It is heavier.
You could try andkinf Renault if they will turn the power stearing assiatnce down as its electronically controlled. I take it you own a 1.2 if so then your only on setting 2 of 3 ask them if they will turn it down to 1. I'm not sure they will though.
£1.5k or so list price. Best replace all other suspension bits and you may have damaged the gearbox, hubs and subframe which adds up plus you may have bent the chassic which needs rejigging (again expensive).
You could get the bits from a breakers yard and better bits if you shop around for...
I'll get some pics of mine when I get a chance basically theose boxes you get are welded into the car down by where the seat belt mounts are. Its a bad position as the fuel tank is right next to where you have to weld.
Have a go at putting it together on the floor and you'll see where everthing...
Mark - none standard 182 (ie none Cup packed suspension) hubs are the 172 hubs.
If yu'd wanted to be the first with 182 Coilovers you could have gone down the easy route of 172 hubs on the front and then have your pick of coilovers.
Thats not a problem, whilst you do need a 15 inch disk to ensure you get round the front disks you can always (as the CTR driver have to do) is put a 14' on the back and one of the back ones on the front if you have a puncture of the front tyre.
You can use any CLio wheel I'd say a idential...
maybe 120~125hp not a huge amount realy. A 172 transpant bits ie brakes suspension gearbox ecu etc is only £1.5k+ vat from j3ned that a much better tunning option value wise plsu you get the better brakes.
I'd say a new clucth shound be under £65 I think thats about the list price for the Williams one. I'd always go for a Renault official one its so much better I had a performance one from a famous company and it cracked round the springs plus it was massivly heavy. Even though my cars tunned the...
The difference between 172 and 182 cup pack dampers is that 182 Cup suspension packed cars have 58mm hubs. 172's have 54mm hubs. All you need to do is drill out the 54mm huubs another 4mm or better still weld up the hole and have another drilled in the right place.
The standard variant 1 are fine for 99.995 of users even if you track the car.
Quite a few owners on here have the FK version 1 on there cars but there are no FK dci owners. Infact there are few dci owners at all.
