    You wont loose any power. Some people have said that running on 95 has caused it to be a little less table at low RPM. I wouldnt bother personally.

    Gaz coilovers for MK1 172

    Id recomend H and R as others have ownered and loved them. I dont like Gaz just for the simple reason that there Mk1 setup damaged my cars bonnet for no reason other than there to lazy to change it or do any design and testing on it.

    Definatly get an older Mk2 (if you realy like the looks) or preferably a Mk1 save £500 for problem etc and spend £1k on top rate coilovers. You can get aftermarket warenties if you want.

    Seperate policy and have to have no no claims on one car. You can get policies which cover more than 1 car but they dont allow modified cars so that put me out.

    renault clip software

    You cna run it on any suitable spec laptop but it takes a while to setup. The cable to connect the laptop (with the relent software) to the Renault connection is the expensive bit unless youve got £2.6k forget it. Its not just a cable its a big box about 1/2 way along it.

    Its easy to get to £660 as list price for the parts ia about £450 probably then labour for the disks and pads is probably 1.6hrs at 80 an hour so that where the £150 extra comes from. The rule Smart told you is the law youve been told a bit of a mistrouth from the dealer.

    Just stick with plain disks. The 259mm kit is fine you dont need anyhting bigger with marks 4 pots I couldnt wish for any better brakes I need better gripping tyres as they just skid on the track if you use those brakes to the full and they never fade.

    You have to jack up the car remove the wheel and get the spnners on it to lower it. Its not a difficult job though. Springs dont settle to much realy I think mine went about 5mm if that and it only took a week or so.

    Nope. Your supposed to check it when th cars cold and top it up accoridingly. The Renault coolent isnt supposed to be mixed with water though. 1 liter is £6 or so.
