The dash dials bit holds the milage so swopping will get the milage from the doner car. Not sure about the readouts I think they will work ie 5k rpm will read 5k rpm on 172 or normal dash.

I wouldnt bother spednign a fortune stock brakes are excellent better than the last 911 turbo if I remember. Get some new disk (£50 from Fred) some uprated pads (tones of choice just do a search) and change the fluid and if you want change the flexable pipe. Youll save yourself a packet.

I wouldnt worry the 1.2 8V is underpowered but if its the V6 lookalike on here I wouldnt care about power just look at the thing, you dont need to go quick to get people to look at it. Its an excellent replica. If you want you could have a 2.0 etc dropped in.
