There isnt an Rsport chip at the moment a far as Im aware.
There £200~250 I think.
There are no other replacment ecus on the market (well normal plug in and use ones).
The other options are getting Chip Wizzards to remap the car and will give you the 8k limiter also superchips probably do...
I have to agree its good but nothing amazing. Honda get over 230 from a 2.0. Also you can top 200hp on the stock engine without huge mods and keeping the same rev limiter etc and you should be able to get 200hp with 95 Ron fuel.
The performance is very likly to be mental. Higher RON fuel...
Id stick with any cheap fuel realy the engines dont seem to have problem with 95 octane unless it knock you wont loose power. The engiens not highly tuned after all.
You cannot add cruise afterwards easily it could be done but how much you willing to pay for it?
Not much of an electronics wizz I can fiddle stuff and studies it at colleg/uni but not indepth.
the stock ecu is remappable and if you have the Renault software you can change the maps this has been fixed by fastchips and they can remap buthe stock ecu but thats all they can do.
Im working...
You can get limited access software from some companies but to get the software to access the full Renault ECU etc then you need Renault software and they wont sell it or give out out at al.
No one who isnt an employee has it. There are ways round this Im working on at the moment. The cable...
You will get insured theres another 19yr old Cup owner on here but he paids £4k for cover and thats limited milag I think under his name and he has yrs of NCB.
It will be about 3k at best Id say but it will depend on other drivers on the policy if its under your name (I DONT suggest you lie...
I assume he is on about NOS
NOS is the company famous for selling the kits. The gas it uses is N2O and to be true you should call it N20 but NOS being the famous company people usually call it that even though they have another manurfacturers setup.
There is no handbrake button availiable seperatly you need to buy the whole handbrake bit.
You might be able to strip the handbrake setup down and rempace it but its bound to be difficult.
A remap will not make much more power it will help smooth the delivers but thats about all.
Only when you modify the engine or its breathing ie exhaust IK and allow the engine to draw more air into it that the remap shows it value as it injectors more fuel to get you the more power and to...
Just one other thing I remembered
The 100dci maps they show for details seem to induicate the torque bveing capped atr 200NM now these maps usually dont relate to the real world but if it is true then you may be able to get more toque out of the 100dci as the turbo has been capped due to its...
To have something different plus many people start modding as insurance means they cannot/ are unwilling to buy a faster or more expensive car. Then when people have spent all that money cna can afford more expensive cars dont bother as they have invested so much in ther car.
Dpends what you want.
Personnaly Id get the springs or maybe coilovers for the extra.
Then get the manifold work, panel filter and SMT6 remap. You dont need an SMT7 as the stock ignition is fine but it might help.
So thats
£500 remap from GDI
£150 manifold work (I think thats the...
£13.5k for anew one Id say.
Best do a search though this is always comming up imports (although the cannot have the cup suspension) are quite cheap but you need to add an alarm but or £11.5k I think from Motorpoint there excellent value. Plus stick some upated springs and handling willbe as...
He shouldnt have that problem its a new shape 1.2 16V so the fan should only come on when the temp is very high and that radiator is fine for normal cooling.
Small diferences are just down to engineering tolerance and how well parts are put together a few slight adjustment + different bedding in technique can make a noticiable difference.
