Id go for a silver I think. Blacks terriable to keep clean although it looks good when you do clean it.
Yelllow is an excellent looking colour but for the price they want its to much personally plus they will knock you down at resale for having it I recon.
At the end of the day a V6 or 172 are fast cars along with scoobies there only so fast you can go both safely and keeping your licence intact.
Sure you can track it but why not have a second car to track instead built for the purpoise which is much cheaper and faster.
Depends how much and of...
Id ring Renault UK and they should fix it you should get a courtesy car. I always get one unless its an easy to fix job should help them get there backsides to fix the car else they dont get there car back.
I think your dads gearbox is having the same problem as mine although mines not tobad...
I dont think foreigh models need an alarm as standard its only us Britsh who have them fitted.
Have you got the little sensors on the windscreen pillar?
They made some Mk 2 2 with the 1.9 DTI in it in France not sure if the Uk got any examples though.
There are some Mk2 1 with the 1.5dci in them (not sure if they were test mules though)
Tunning box will get ~84hp
The 65 has more like 70hp stock and close on the same torque as the 172 or the 80dci.
The 80dci has ~85hp in real life.
Not that that will convince you if i were in your position Id probably do the same go for the more powerful engine.
The production line photo is of a 172 Im sure as it shows a spare wheel well in the boot whereas the V6 doesnt have a spare there as the engine is in the way.
Plus where he is kneeling down there is a hole in the V6 where the engine goes so they would be standing up.
Also the V6 has a...
Your talking about the car comming on cam ie the cams become more efficient at about 4.5k.
The VVT is activated at low revs and disengages at something like 6k. Its mainly there to help emmisions and as a marketing ploy. But it does alow they yto use quite stong cams which helps with power...
You have to hacksaw or some good mole grips to get the gear stick off.
I take it when you mean the blue cover you mean the one on the 172s ontop of the gear stick showing the gears?
Is so its 60 00 073 675 GEAR LEVER £27.79 ex vat I believe.
The old Mk1 were built by TWR or someone but they went bankrupt the new ones are built on the Renault Sport line by hand (and hand painted) I think along with the 182 and Cup racers.
Build quality should be quite good Id imagine but its a Renault so check it. The V6 should be built to a...
Id realy recomend you look at the 65hp models much cheaper.
The 100 is expensive as its the top spec diesel and its a complex expensive engine. Id realy recomend you barter for a yr or two old 65 or 80dci and think of all the drpeciation you wil save.
How old is the car?
Basically everyhting which is determinded to be wear and tear isnt covered ir clutch plate brake etc.
Everything else plus parts which fail due to manurfacturing fault is under warently.
Id suspect although an exhaust is deemed to be wear and tear it would be fixed as...
The 182 (all of them) have a different wishbones and wider track. I dont think the Cups have anyhting very different migh be different spacers on the Cup tyresbut its not going to be massive.
The 182 Cups are 3mm lower than 182
The 172 Cups are 3mm lower than 172
172 are supposidly 20mm...
The Corsa would be the quickest there light (assuming were talking about the easy last shape Corsas) and they usually have the red top 150hp engine in there.
The turbos are very fast 205hp stock and 250hp with just a chip.
Id go for a 172 personally it faster than a Golf as its ligher...
They dont do much work at all.
Shop around you should be able to get it least £30 chepaer.
I paid £99 for mine to be done at a dealership although Im supposed to have got 10% discount because I bought the car there.
There 195 Mk1 V6 and 250 Mk2 I think
The Mk1 are numbered upto 400 or something but they represent orders not deliveries everyone who ordered one was given a number but when they cancellen the numbers werent reused.
The williams is a classic there cannot be any more made (particularly mk1s)...
You can get insured. But how much is the question.
As I wrote in another thread it depend how your NCB where you live how many miles you do what you do for a living etc.
Id guess £2.5 to £3.5k.
The forum user on here who has a Cup pays £4k at 18 for a Cup
Yep no reason why they couldnt get insured there a Cup owner on here at 19 who pays £4k and a Megan RS is only 1 group higher insurance and he is a yr old (so about 15% cheaper insurance due to his age assuming same NCB).
Id expct him to be paying between £3k and £4k though. but will depend...
Best performance will be from head/manifold work plus an SMTP etc. (talk to BenR and Andi at GDI for prices but Id guess about £800 for manifold + smpt for ~185hp. The same money on decat exhaust + ik will get you about 175 Id guess.
Induction kits + exhaust gains will be much less £ for £...
99.9 is the max the display will show Id be interested to know how accurate it it at those sort of numbers as speeds and fuel burn will be very low so the sensor might not be ever reading fuel flow.
I cannot spell for toffee BTW.
I had a dci one to way over that 99.9 barrier at 30 in 5th the...
Renault can turn the sensitivity down very easy job just swap the connections from the sensor round lowers there sensitivity by 80% mine had the same problem of being ultra sensative.
To help stop it at the moment close your air vents check all the windows are up move the sensors to a...
Just had a look they might not be able to have them all under one entity but Renault own 36.8% share + voting rights in Nissan they are loads of other bits and deals they have as well.
There the same round here Renault and Nissan.
I dont think Nissan can do Renault work or vice versa. There seperate companies but Renault has a massive share (not sure how much) in Nissan.
Go buy a car from a garage and return it before 1k have been put on it or its been your for a month and say you dont want it and they give you your money back.
I recon £5.5 best youll get offered trade but will depend what your buying.
Private will be worth about 5.9k
Best remove the mods as youll get the same price or there abouts for a stock car as a modified one and youll get some money for the mods.
