172 Insurance

Depending how things go next year (apprenticeship and some money ive saved) im considering buying a 172.

Ill be 18 with 1 years NCB (hopefully)

Just wondering if anyone on here is 18 with a 172 and how much there paying on insurance?

I have been quoted £6000 - and thats about £4k too much!!! lol!!

There an owner on here who is 18 with some NCB who pays £4k on his CYp (about the same price as a 172) he had to pay in one lump sum I belive as well.
