hi im new considering going renaultsport

coming from a VW be prepared for a shock to the system - build quality aint fantastic but the handling and bang for the buck is great. If you see yourself doing engine mods just get the 182 as the mods will be begging for the improved exhaust manifold the 182 has. The 182 does make better...

True or Not -must be 25 to test drive a renaultsport model?

The guy who wrote in complaining prob went in in a tracksuit with a gold chain and socks over his trousers. at 21 they told me I couldnt afford a 2nd hand 172 and weren't going to let me test drive it. I talked them into it and then went and bought my new 182 elsewhere to spite them.

    172 rear pads n discs

Iain i bought some the week before last from a dude on ebay. Yozza is your best bet I was just lucky. Renault quoted me over £200 with bearings pressed in and £170 or something silly without bearings. GSF have them at a better price than Renault but aren't Renault parts. Yozzasport are...

    172/182 brembo max discs

I was told that Brembo Sports: Are better than max by a guy trying to sell them, he reckoned there is more motorsport technology input... I bought the High Carbons from Yozzasport instead.

my 182 will comfortably return 37mpg when on A roads for 4 - 4.5 hours averaging between 65 and 70mph. Yes averaging i.e illegal speeds on the straights slowing down to still illegal speeds in most bends

  25. rory182

    GDI 208bhp package, independant RR

cool sounds like ur pushing around 199brake then based on 193/194 + 5/6 and also based on 20brake more than standard. rather simplistic point of view on my part but... lol
  26. rory182

    182 wheels on a hybrid

it is, all 182 variants are ET 45mm thats 8mm not 7 :rasp:
  27. rory182

    GDI 208bhp package, independant RR

yeah in which case are you adding 5-6 bhp onto you 193 / 194? Cause my 182 made 179brake standard (but diff RR and yes all very subjective...)
  28. rory182

    GDI 208bhp package, independant RR

so + 5 or 6 bhp then? or did he mean the 182s generally dont make book power as opposed to his rollers reading low?
