    Finally.

I'd avoid the conti's if you can afford the pilotsport3's. The conti's just wore out far too quickly imo.

    Help needed please on Dephaser!!

I'd steer well clear of anyone who reuses a cambelt. I charge £500 inc dephaser for a 172 cup.

    Steering rack bushes (PH1 questions)

They'll wear out faster than the OEM stuff because of the construction of them. Stick to OEM IMO.

    Steering rack...is it broke?

Certainly sounds like a knackered rack then.

    Steering rack...is it broke?

1-1.5 inches?!? or cm? or mm? It could be rack, rack bushes, or even lower ball joints.

£75 for a datalog from myself, £150 with a cam timing check.

I can also do a map check if required (if mike is too busy!)

    Oil Message/Engine Damage?

1 litre for the mark. 5 litres fills them up generally.

Retro fitting the the auto light function on a 172 Cup

Erm, it'll need configuring of the UCH, but I'm not sure if it'll have the loom.
  21. D

    Engine Detonation?

You want to have a datalog done, see what it's requesting and it's receiving etc. (I can do this for a small fee if you wished) I will also give you a copy of the datalog for your own records/to send off to the mapping company.

    Oil Message/Engine Damage?

It should be ok. But it's a lot of oil to have lost in 1 journey. I think you'll be fine, but depending on what condition the Map is, it could be a different story.

    Oil Message/Engine Damage?

It *should* be ok oil pressure wise. It still had 3 litres in it. How long was it running for?
  24. D

    Oil Message/Engine Damage?

How much oil did it take to bring it up to level?

Revs are higher when going faster, not always been the case

How long was the private road to get a 1.2 to 120mph?!?
  26. D

    Oil Message/Engine Damage?

Not usually. It's the other way round from the map on Kyle's. But to the OP. Chances are the starting with low oil hasn't done any damage. It has to be very low (off the dipstick low) before it'll cause issues on a quick start up/switch off.

    Airbag light easy fix.

I'm in somerset and can reconfigure the Airbag ecu.
  28. D

    Oil Message/Engine Damage?

No it's not normal. General suggestion would be to get the map checked by someone independent. Where are you based? Its also then a good idea to have an inespection, to try and find the route cause for the loss of oil. Compression and leak down test would give you an idea if it's burning it or not.

    incy-spiders Clio 182 turbo

Forged pistons/ rods make a lot more sense if your taking the head off mate. I did the whole dropping the compression using a Megane gasket. Going forged now, wish I hadn't wasted the money/time doing the Megane gasket.
