    They do get under your skin. I've had 10 now. I flirt with other cars, then end up back in a 1*2, just as IMO, you can't have as much fun per £ than in one.

    Normal pump distributed diesels, yes crack the injectors. When I went through college we had it practically beaten into us that you don't crack off common rail diesel injectors, due to the massive amount of pressure behind it.

    Take the passenger shaft out and remove the driveshaft cup (probably 4 t30 bolts holding yours in, instead of a circlip. You'll be able to inspect the planet gears like this.

    Side to side will happen. I meant longitudinally. Aslong as the brackets etc don't move you'll be fine.

    The aux belt kit for a 197 is cheaper than a 172/182. And you don't need any special tools.

    Sounds like a driveshaft(cv joint) has broken up. Remove one and see if the other turns fine.

    Depends where it's putting it. If it's got a cat in, it'll burn off A lot of the oil vapour.

    Cut the rear floor pan out of the TT and use that in place of the clio's. Then fabricate the transmission tunnel. Then work out where your going to put the steering rack. Then cut the subframe to clear the propshaft etc etc
