Take the passenger shaft out and remove the driveshaft cup (probably 4 t30 bolts holding yours in, instead of a circlip. You'll be able to inspect the planet gears like this.

Cut the rear floor pan out of the TT and use that in place of the clio's. Then fabricate the transmission tunnel. Then work out where your going to put the steering rack. Then cut the subframe to clear the propshaft etc etc
