Pull the sound deadening off from the bulkhead the abs module is under the pas tank. There is also come cabling that goes across the bulkhead by the manifold iirc, this could have melted if its got too close to the manifold.
You want it to be around 12.8 at WOT.
Lean gets a hotter burn and therefore makes more power but goes through piston rings etc. 12.8 is perfectly safe with a loss of a few bhp.
I love them. The box isn't as bad as people think/make out. It's still quicker than you manually changing. I quite like the flappy paddles, very race caresque in my opinion. Handling/grip is phenomenal. As are the brakes. And it's faster IMO than a 200.
It is something I've done.
It's quite time consuming as you need to tear the seat apart and weld the new frame to the old seat base. Tbh I'd allow 6 hours to do it again. Just as you have to chop so much out, measure/chop repeat, and IMO they didn't lower the seat enough.
Folley. Tried taking it flat out (130-140mph) in that rain. Didnt go well. Ended up in a very very long slide. Came back on at quarry lol. Still nothing managed to get even catch up with me despite the off
