Mine was pumping oil out the breather and it was cracked ring lands. But it was pumping out and filling the catch can within 10 miles. So I rigged up a recirculating breather setup lol
It's it's pressurising the crank case, it's bore related. Map wise if its dumping fuel in it can bore wash, if its running lean and detonating it'll burn out rings and crank ring lands.
Tbh it depends how well it's been installed. I had a Clifford that took less than 10 mins to bypass with no tools.
I expect it'll have single colour wiring being thatcham approved, so it's not just a case of following cables I'm afraid.
A reputable trader on here? May be worth taking it to mike Woodford to have a check on the map, if its breathing heavy in 10,000 miles there is an underlying issue.
