    Are you having the head rebuilt or a new engine? If its the latter certsbog go for a clutch. But if the heads being rebukt the clutch isn't touched.

    No idea on full loom cost. How far back is the issue? I think I have a scrap loom, that I could chop an injector plug and a bit of wiring back.

    You sure it's not the plug on the injector? They break off easily.

    A normal mechanic with no experience of these, 9 hours. It's the experience that really pays off, as you know exactly what has to come off.

    Tbh I wouldn't bother using a different head. Just use forged pistons and rods and boost it like that.

    You don't want a 225 head, you'd loose the VVT. What are you trying to achieve?

    You could be hearing the throttle just opening causing a whistle. Put the standard airbox on and see if that helps it

    Cambelt, dephaser, oil and filter, aux kit, rear shocks, and cup spoiler being fitted today. She's getting stuck in too!
