Re: Grey With Trinkets, Russ' 29th RS Clio
Another thing to add to the list, there is a near side wheel bearing humming at 70+mph. In theory it's a front as the rears are practically new.
I'd still take a cup over a stock ph1. But it's personal preference, mainly as the dash is nicer IMO, having said that a flocked ph1 dash is nice.
ITB's, and coilovers on my ph1. It's epic :)
Ditto. The first thing to kill you in a crash will be a badly made cage. I certainly wouldn't want to be in an impact with one where a weld or bar breaks adding to the debris flying about in the car.
Re: Grey With Trinkets, Russ' 29th RS Clio
So, as most of you know, this is now in my ownership.
Had it on the ramp today to fit the yozza, but it's got a ph1 decat on it, so that was a no go :(
I've fitted my RARB from the Monaco.
My list of stuff to do/sort out.
Map needs a bit of...
I always set the drivers side 10-15mm higher than the passenger side, it's fairly level then. But I have my vehicles corner weighted, so they never sit level anyway.
I do know how to polish a car ;)
But don't worry, it'll be very well looked after. It decided to break down earlier too. Lol. One new fuel line and it was all sorted.
428's are more suited to the standard inlet, quite mild. 438'a are a refined version of the 421's that can be used with the stock ecu. 421's are the wildest you can go with the standard pistons.
Of all of those, I'd say its the latter. Everything else is tried and tested.
That said I did have a faulty LUK slave the other day. That bled up fine, then as I was moving it off the ramp the clutch pedal went to the floor and pissed brake fluid from the bell housing.
