got a big ding in my bonnet from a large stone that got flicked up the other day but fancied a carbon bonnet (but want to get it painted on the outside and left carbon underneath - stealthy!) just wondering if they are the lightest bonnets i can get or does anyone do a aluminium or fibreglass...
ill race you!!!
in the dci, i like a challenge, not even worth putting the millage on my 172 to prove that it would pass you like your going backwords :)
lol shes not going to be driving it fast shes s**t scared of it! will be nice knowing shes out on the roads with £500 worth of tyres, 280mm brakes, traction control and abs, it will look after her!!
so my mrs passed her test yesterday, was going to insure the dci for her so she could drive that but thought id try the 172 and see what quote came back.
ive still got 9 months of a 10 month policy left with admiral so gave them a call.

18yrs old, passed test yesterday.

if i could go back to my 1.2 i wouldnt have the loud exhaust id keep the standard one.
if standard 172 exhausts were better quality id 90% probably have kept it!

personally i just give it quick launch and once its starting to roll then hammer the throttle that way it doesnt spin in first as long as its dry (and thats with just under 190bhp and 160lb/ft!) im lazy so i keep ESP on for a launch its not like it affects it that much just enough to get the...
open induction kit by any chance? theirs ur problem, and the decat will be causing it to not run the best!.
16v 1.2's get big gains from mapping actually but iirc yours is an 8v? not sure about them.
granted the guys positioned the fan at the wrong place first run and engine suffered heat soak on the first run (cured as said by removing engine cover and opening boot) but power figure wise the rollers were fine!
falklands rollers have always been spot on with my car, at the last RR day they were spot on with all the cars and then again this time once again spot on. focus is having boost problems was nothing to do with the rollers
looks awesome mate is it running yet? are you just using the standard exhaust for now with a custom decat to link both the 172 manifold and standard system?
does the couple have electric power steering or hydrolic?
coupe dials work fine?
got a mate whos got a coupe whos been interested in...
you need to have the higher spec UCH to run them. my expression was wired for them behind the bumper BUT the UCH didnt support it, so they didnt work. i ended up just fitting the lights, not like i use them anyway.
if your uch supports you need....
Stalk with front fog function (ive just sold...
