best mod i done to my old car was.... not sure had to many mods lol probably FK Silverline X Coilovers, 5mm spacers and 195/45/15 Eagle F1s on the dynamique wheels, made it look spot on!
as for my 172, Sportlines are awesome, as is powerflex dogbone bushes (had them on my 1.2 16v too actually!)

just watching one on ebay for a runabout to take 172 off the road for a bit as it needs cambelt exhaust etc but just fancied an intercooler and remap
so theres plenty of room to fit a big front mount behind the lower grill then? does the grill need removed to fit a decent size aftermarket one or will it fit behind?

watching a DCI65 on ebay at the moment and just need to see roughly what size of intercooler i could fit on it! lol
my car made 175ps (173bhp) on the rollers, at a RR day where the results were VERY accurate and consistent.
obviously different cars /engines are different, and make different power but when most 182's and 172s were making just under book power, mine making over seemed to be good!
my old 1.2 16v sounded good, this was before the decat, listen to the pop when i blip the throttle down into 2nd at the end (0:50)...

my exhaust fell off the day after i picked up my car, had to argue for about 20 minz to get it!
my lambda went, wasnt covered because it was exposed to the elements?!?!
engine mounts wernt covered
even the 3.0 v6 is a big heavy engine with 200bhp odd if that in standard form it would still be slower probably.
your car has MORE POWER, LESS WEIGHT its obviously faster lol
yeah, ull be fine, i had my 1.2 16v for just under a year (well had it for 2 years but only driving it for just under a year) then got the 172 and was fine, as long as you dont drive it like a tit overtaking on corners etc trying to show off! but that goes for any car not just fast ones!
the standard tail lights are fine no need to change lol!
as for lowering only springs id fit to standard dampers are eibach or simiar height ones as they wont stress them too much!
anything else go for springs and dampers, apex -60mm would be ok if they do them for it yet, or if your feeling...

i saw one tonight on a car that said RENAULTSPORT CLIO 172 CUP
the renaultsport was in the renaultsport font, clio in the clio font, 172 in italic and cup in the cup font. looks horrid lol
