what kinda bass controller is it?? some plug in between the headunit and rca cables, others just plug into the side of the amp like mine, you have a pic of the bass controller?? would help

checked the fuses?? if theyre on the same fuse, cutting the wire could have shorted it

i had this issue with my jvc avx1 just patience and stuffing, unlike my ripspeed screen that got a trim :) though i would never suggest doing it to a headunit worth money

theres two wires going to the pretensioner, hard to go wrong really, does 3 ohm work?? is it different for different models, ive read so many different resistor values for this, non of which have worked so far

its a pretty simple job, ps. ripspeed and good with audio did make me chuckle no offence intended

when i did this, (exactly the same thing) i couldnt get the gator back on, so i just snipped the metal clip, and new a new clip on, piece of piss

set of preout addapters, though this is far from ideal, run a wire from the ignition live for a remote wire, but this will mean the sound it amplified twice, could you not look into some standard looking headunits??

i believe it needs to go between the two wires that lead to the pretensioners, im guessing you want rid of the sev light and airbag light, ive tried this over and over, bt atm theyve failed n im greated with a service light every time i start the car, ill be followin this, free bump lol

have you not go any axle stands?? or anything that would take the weight?? those jacks are for changing wheels only lol, my mate put a stack of newspapers under his car, but wood or anything that wont crush will do fine

you have to get the oil pumped in, unless you have the pump itll be a garage or a mate to do it its like a tube with a plunger one end, and a lil injector at the other, theres a small hole in the top of your gearbox for it do screw into, no you can do it any other way, we tried that aswell

if it was the starter motor surely the car would bump, and if the crank sensor goes, does it not still turn over?? when you say 'battery appears to be ok' what does this mean?? as it might be ur alternator not charging the battery enuf

such a common problem, the contacts for the rear clusters all tend to corrode, need to take them off, clean up all the connections, that should sort it.

check the ignition live, or just run a wire from the battery live to the ignition live, and see if it turns off again
