Had Rainsport 3's fitted for just over a week now and clocked up about 250 miles . Coming from Rainsport 2's , which i was massively impressed with , especially in the wet , I'm just as impressed with the Rainsport 3's in both the wet and dry .
Without wanting to state the obvious . Have you rung any PDR guys in your area ? It'll only cost a few mins of your time and they'll tell you roughly over the phone if it's possible to remove or not .
Get your fingers under either side of the insert and just full very hard . There are 2 cllips that hold it onto the steering wheel . Don't worry , you can pull very very hard , they won't break .
I'd be gutted too mate , to be honest . The quality doesn't look very good for the price you paid , especially when you compare it to all those Snappy retrims . Plus retriming over the thumb grips just looks all wrong , imo .
£2500 does seem a bit low. Try and find a few more adverts , say on autotrader , Pistonheads etc .... for cars of a similar age and mileage but higher priced then contact your insurance company and show them . There are quite a few around the £3500 mark ...
There were 2 cup packs . One had lower , stiffer suspension , about 3mm iirc and anthracite wheels . The 2nd cup pack was the cup spoiler and front splitter . According to the heritage website 343 Racing Blues came with the suspension package and 301 came with the spoiler / splitter package ...
I reckon that's a bit of bargain , even if the belts do need doing asap . I'd have it if i was in the market for a PH1 . It looks pretty much mint , bodywork , wheels , interior from the pics . I don't understand the comment from boomerang2006 about the engine bay ? It looks alot tidier than my...
https://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0130-and-P0136 .It could be the sensor or it could be a broken wire on the sensor . I had the same a few weeks ago , on the post cat lambda sensor . The wires had got a bit bent and cause a slight crack in the sheath . I just fixed it with some insulation...
I've seen this problem mentioned before quite alot . I can't remember the solution . But i have these 7 LED 501's in my sidelights , been running them for about 2 years now with no problems and they match my xenons perfectly . So i Put the 2 spare ones in my interior light and i've never had...
Is ebay down again ? I can't sign in . Tried resetting my password and it doesn't recognise my email address or user ID . Anybody else having this problem tonight ?
I'm assuming the hub and caliper are standard , as it left the factory ? If that's the case , then the only thing that has changed is the disc ? So it can't be the hub ? Maybe , and I've never heard of this happening before , the pad carrier on the caliper is ever so slightly bent ? Just enough...
Ahhh right , sorry . I misunderstood you about the 44 mm . So inside the new discs it's 36mm deep ? So what you're saying is the new discs sit 1mm further onto the hub , therefore catching the inside of the disc on the caliper / pad carrier ? I don't think anybody will have the answer mate if...
You could do it yourself , probably with a fine paint brush . But the results won't be anywhere near as good as the ones from simon@sprayshack.
I bought some anthracite ones with arctic blue lettering and the quality is absolutely spot on .
Send him a pm ...
There should be some restrictions on the power of a car that inexperienced drivers can own / drive . And not necessarily based just on age . It should be based on experience , years on the road . For instance , you could get somebody who only passed their driving test in their mid 20's , is able...
I think they mean the temp sensor under the air filter housing ? I might be wrong though . I think it's quite common for them to have a dodgy wiring / connection . I had this on my 182 when it was brand new , turns out it was just a dodgy connection , i gave it a good wiggle and problem went...
Ahhh i see . I didn't know your location . Have to tried ebay ? There are lots of leather repair kits on there mate . I don't think there is a colour code as such , you'd just have to try and source a colour that is the same as your own .
I'm going back a few years now .I had a guy from a company called trimline do a smart repair on a cigarette burn in in my 172's seat , he also recoloured the drivers side bolster which was slightly worn . It was like new after he'd finished , it didn't take him long at all . You can buy kits if...
Re: Is buying a cliophs1 172 having a full respray sunflower yel cheating or ok
Personally I wouldn't . Too much expense to get it done properly . I'd either try and source one , not easy i know or just go for another colour . But , at the end of the day it's your choice , your money .
There was somebody on here a while ago , maybe 12 months or more i can't remember exactly now and they did replacement seatbelts in various colours . They also had a facebook page . I can't find either of them now though lol . So not much help . But they do exist .
