I can't comment on the other tyres above or compare as I've no experience of them . But I've been running Uniroyal Rainsport 3's for the past month now and the grip they offer in the wet is fanatastic . It was absolutely pouring down today , lots and lots of standing water and they just drive...
The car looks shite imo , wtf's going on with the two tone paintwork , and those wheels :openmouth: . Reading the description , the poor grammar , I'd say this guy was of Eastern European origin , probably Polish . I have alot of Polish friends and that's how they speak / translate Polish into...
4300k is oem , I went for 5000k . It's ever so slightly whiter , not blue .
I got mine from here . Been running them for about 12 months now with no issues . I think Renault wanted something crazy like £90 a bulb lol...
Overpriced imo, by a good £1500 at least . Even though it's in great " condision " , has silver " gray " alloys and it handles " unbeliavable " and also has had £!000 spent on a suspension uprgade , no mention of what the upgrade is exactly . FFS , if you can't spell , use a spell checker or...
Mine were rusted to fcuk too . I unbolted the brackets that the exhaust hangers are bolted to , to make it easier . They came out pretty easily . I'd soaked all the bolts with WD40 for a few days prior to doing this . Then i carefully , slowly undid the bolts for the exhaust hanger in a vice so...
I live in the North West of England , It rains a lot here and i wouldn't use any other tyre now than the Rainsports . They do feel quite strange to begin with and need a couple of hundred miles under their belt to scrub in , but when they do they are a fantastic tyre for gripping in the wet .
Ahhh right . There probably lies the answer to your problem if they're getting low , the ones Ive just had taken off were crap in the wet because they were very low . It's like a different car now with the new Rainsport 3's on . You'll have to have a look what else it says on the tyre ...
Are they the " Rainsports " or the Budget " Rain Experts ? " I've had Rainsport 2's , currently running Rainsport 3's on my 182 and I really rate them , especially on wet roads . I've just got home now , driving on wet roads and they easily handle wet roads/ bends no problem when pushing on . I...
Having viewed the forward facing camera I'd say your braking was fine , from the rear facing camera it's a bit deceiving and it does look like you pullled up quite sharpish . The Fiestas brakes are obviously alot more capable than the Clios and driver probably wasn't concentrating as much as...
I dont know how you guys work out the garage did a piss poor job
What do you mean by carriers need rebuilding exactly ? The rears are a different ball game compared to the fronts . With the fronts it's usually just the sliders on the carrier that need freeing/cleaning up and regreasing . On...
If it's that bad you can feel it with your finger you've no chance of polishing it out , not even using specialised glass polishes like jewelers rouge , cerium oxide etc .... I've tried , and it made little impact on the scratch .
I have PE2's on the rear too , still plenty of tread left though . But when it comes time to replace I'll be going for the Rainsport 3's . The only thing i can say about them is , alot of people seem to think they have soft sidewalls .I'm not so sure about that , I think it's more to do with the...
Can't comment on the Hankooks as I've never used them . I'm currently running Rainsport 3's , been on the front for about 300 miles now and I rate them highly , in the wet they feel so planted when pushing on .
Ahhhhh . So you're a detailing guru too ? I beg my pardon . I'd never have guessed as your lack of useful information wasn't forthcoming , unlike some other people who have actually tried to explain a few things in this post . To which I am grateful , you truly can learn something new everyday ...
Thanks for your constructive criticism , even though you actually contributed nothing useful to this post for me , the OP or anybody else that might be interested . At least my posts were inquisitive , if nothing else . Like i said before in a previous post . The only way to learn is to ask .
So why spend say £100 for a pot that only adds 5% to finish ? To me that sounds like even less reason to shell out silly money for a product that does the least ? I'm assuming that the first stages i.e. polish , sealants are the products that give the best final result ? If so , why don't people...
The only way to learn , is to ask questions . Mine beads nicely , not sure at what angle though lol , they're more curved . I guess I must be doing something right with my cheapo £30 pot
You lost me with contact angle . Care to explain ? I'm genuinely interested . I understand the longevity , gloss etc .... not really the warmth part though . Having a blue car , it's a cold colour so i don't understand how that works either ? I wouldn't dream of spending 3 figures on a pot of...
I always thought it was called beading myself . Or maybe I'm just not in touch with these newer detailing terms like " water behaviour. " Any product , be it a £15 pot of Nattys or a £100 pot of Glasur will bead . Is there water different behaviour from different waxes ? Do more expensive waxes...
