Only thing I dont like about the Pure ones is you dont get an upper spreader plate unless you also use one of their strut braces, and a strut brace on a clio is one of the most pointless mods going

hate this option. it may seem free, but in reality costs you a big chunk of the resale value, and cuts your captive market for buying the car to a tiny fraction of what it once was.
I dont use shell as i refuse to pay in their shops with a card. Too many instances of card fraud. BP Ultimate I've found to give less knock protection than tescos or sainsburys 95. If I was buying super, it would be from Tescos. Always worked very well for me with turbo cars
standalone ECU's don't log fault codes like standard ones do. You can do see far more from sensor feedback though, so finding a faulty sensor is easy once you have the software
oh, the getting worse bit sounds quite like lambda sensor by the way, although it's worth checking if any linkage has come loose. Keeping ITB's balanced is part of normal servicing procedure
