Well sort of. Engine is rebuilt and put back in, all connected up etc. I've got a tub of bolts left over but I'm gambling they've come off the other engine, lol.

What's bugging me are these three things:

First up, what the hell is this!

It's the small metal pipe thing on the bottom? I'm baffled. I'll work out where the cable tie back thing goes but I can't think what that metal pipe thing is!

Secondly, in a tub marked 'gearbox mount' I have this:

It's a bit like a metal pin, about an inch long. Any ideas?

looks like a piece of PAS pipe thats been cut. did you buy a gearbox from a breaker?

No Tony, the gearbox was in the car when I got it. Could be a bit of PAS pipe, but i've no reason to believe the pipes have been cut?

Also that pin thing is bugging me, I put all the bolts into the tub it came from and that's still left in there. lol.

the pin is for the two front seats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it goes on the "seat rail"

its what lets the seat move forword when you want to leave someone in the back seat
