Well its a common fault with the mounts... Mine are fine apart from when the TC kicks in. Its got to the point where I turn it off to get out of junctions in a hurry and the like...
Its no where near bad enough to replace the mounts yet though:)
The thump, thump, thump, thump....you get from the traction control/engine smacking the sub frame when pulling from a junction in a hurry:mad:
Few rattle's, seating position/gear lever/wheel size could be better. Oh and it would have been nice if the spec included a heated front screen:(...
The CC only uses extra horses when the AC is on. When its not on its the same as one without.
Not in summer which is what the AC is for. In winter you only use it to demist the windows (which has its own button) or once in a while just to keep it working properly.
I can't fault it really...
You only get those figures on a good steady long run. But at the same time my normal mpg is around 31-33 with a mixture of town driving to work/shopping and going for a good thrash on on the moors on the weekends.
Interesting thing is my old man does very similar most of the time in a 406 hdi...
Mine only has a few.
Drivers door card buzzes at certain revs.
Something near the drivers air vent buzzes, not sure if its the vent or the trim around it.
But the worst one comes from the boot lock area. kind of clicking/clunking noise. I think its coming from inside the cylinder part but not...
I read on Pistonheads last week the gov are going ahead with a U turn on the new tax.
It doesn't include new cars and might only be for a year or two. They blamed the crunch for the change of heart lol.
PMSL:lolup::lolup::lolup:
That has to be the funniest thing I've read since some numpty put a piece of J-cloth in place of the filter and sucked it into the engine.
Some people........:S
You can just pull the pipe off the right hand side of the air box if you want a nice sound;) and I haven't noticed any decrease in performance what so ever with that method.
I would recommend them. For the money they cost not much comes close.
They are quick, handle very well, look good (yet understated), have all the mod cons you need, safe and (although not the main reason to buy one) very good on fuel.
I don't think so far (touch wood) they cost to much to...
