for general information, I use Motrio 5w40 from renault in clio road cars, and valvoline synpower 5w40 in turbo meganes or if someone wants an "upgrade" in a 1*2. Both are A3/B4 rated
Valvoline oil is very good indeed. I keep that stuff in stock to use in megane 225's and I've used it for years in my own cars in various different grades.
lot of queens who dont understand force application being over dramatic in here. The bolt is a the bottom of the slotted hole, and the majority of the force is downwards, there's NOWHERE for anything to move. Bolt tightness is what holds the shocks securely anyway.
slotting the hole is fine, it can't go anywhere. However you'll never get more than about 0.5deg of camber. This is why I sell Vmaxx as my budget option, they have completely redesigned brackets for 60mm fitment. Got another higher quality manufacturer working on a new kit too ;)
if there's a big difference between clod and hot results, it's normally valve related
figures in OP look ok, the high one looks like some oil has leaked from the rocker cover down into the plug well and sealed up the rings a little bit more than the others when the plug was removed.
nah, I wouldn't go along with that at all. I'm guessing that little jem came from the same source as all the rest of the misinformation you've been told in the past. I think most of those "interesting" timing setups have been rectified now
guessign this is for the williams. Use the published figures for the cams on the piper website, many have tried with "special" timing and most have made the car crap
dephaser condition is almost entirely down to oil change frequency. If you've done it on time always then it may well live on for a long time to come. However, that's an ideal mileage to just do the lot. I'd even be tempted to do the waterpump on something with over 100k and I never reccomend that
F3P laguna, F7R megane/spider. The throttle quadrant is a little different though, so you need to trim back the cable outer
Other F4R's have a completely different setup
