"diesel" oils are the same, but adhere to higher standards normally.
If you look at any 5w40 it will have an ACEA rating of something like A3/B3 or A3/B4. the A refers to petrol engine standards, the B refers to Diesels.
we're not running an aux water pump anymore, and the long hose under the O.E rad has been removed, so I made some ali blanking plugs for the Samcos.
Nice new SPAL fan which is now fitted also..

been covered before, not that simple due to the VVT control,
CR difference is down to the pistons and the head as the chamber is different too. I'd like to try a set of pistons in a 73x block though
hard to know what the noise is you're hearing, but the injectors can be very ticky. I've changed dephasers before and the tick of injectors becomes apparent. Worth a look/listen
