    Factual High Comp Piston Selection

you're looking into it a bit of a different way than i normally do, but i can tell you one thing, 13:1 most certainly IS a lot. From running a number of cars with around 12.5:1 to 13:1 on the dyno, the heat produced will be huge, and the ignition timing will have a very narrow safe window either...

I just got my CLIO 182 FF Re-mapped, here are the results!

LOL!!! 0degrees air temp would actually make the computer reduce the reading, but it just shows how little attention to detail they're paying. 5th would have the same effect. Sounds like a right botch job

Blackdiamond Predators vs EBC Yellow stuff

they're a chavvy branded "upgrade" you'll be better off with well maintained calipers and brand new standard everything. If you want better pads go for Mintex 1144, perfect balance or quality and price for fast road use. I'm looking at prices of Pagid disks at the moment, although as long as...

Blackdiamond Predators vs EBC Yellow stuff

EBC pads in general crumble and fall apart, and offer poor braking to start with. I feel unsafe in a car if i know it has EBC pads fitted

How many miles does a clio engine last for?

I repaired a cambelt failure on a 1.4 with 155k on the clock. Bores were like new. New set of valves, gaskets and a cambelt kit and I expect it'll keep going for another 50k at least

Unfair tony, they're a very well developed and completely new setup. You've not driven on them, I have ;) Dave88 has the first production set on his car and he LOVES it, everyone who's been in it has also said how good the damping is and how planted the car feels

    top mounts no coilies?

worth it IMO. stock mounts are fine when new but they wear out quite quickly so if you want some accuracy in your suspension then yes, get the mounts

Seriously considering this but need abit of info!

you'd need a few bits as yours is a ph2. You dont have a throttle cable, so you'd need that and a different pedal. you may also need a bracket for your coil, although Laine is selling everything so ask him about that. Also you'll ideally need a new 3 wire lambda sensor (use one from a mk1 clio 16v)
