I ran it for 2 days and re-installed the old version. Totally un-usable IMO

if you're working the electrics hard just after starting, it's possible you've just a bit lacking in battery power. Turning the engine off and on will just drain the battery more. Either give the battery a bit longer to rejuvenate itself after starting, or get it tested and think about getting a...
