    Engine running on

it's basically dieseling, in very simple terms. On old cars with an adjustable dizzy you'd see running on if the timing wasn't set right (too retarded IIRC, it's been a long time since i fiddled with dizzy timing) if you're letting air in, it will feed the remnants of the burn, so it runs on

Finding it Impossible to Remove Top Mount Nut

you havn't jacked it up before trying to undo them have you? Get the weight of the car on the suspension and it will normally stop the shock spinning. Impact gun FTW though

FAO Christopher (and everyone else who was moaning)

looks dreadful without a spoler unless you go to the complete other extreme and make it excessively ghetto. Just low and with different wheels doesn't pull it off

    removing load sensing valve

you'll struggle with this. getting enough of a restriction to the rears is quite hard. Burp had loads of problems, Think he's use a cup master cylinder and bias valve now as the aftermarket valve was putting more to the rear than standard on it's maximum adjustment. should be able to get...

    ph1 172 zorst different to a ph2?

I wouldn't assume, seen W-reg with both. Any X-reg without a 2nd lambda is a late registered car

    Belt squeal?

yeah i recon it's the battery just starting to get a bit weak. Belt slips briefly to start as the alternator is working harder

    Belt squeal?

if the tensioners are definitely ok, i'd be looking at the battery

Help and advice ~ head gaskit.

I think the comp test will be a red hearing and you've got a bad seal or something. I's suspect the upper loom causing running problems as it normally does. Needs to go on diagnostics

    Not enjoy my new 182

Well this is an odd thread. I'm personally a believer in enjoying what you drive, whenever you drive it, and by that i dont mean going fast all the time, but enjoying what you're in. Personally, modern bores me, so i go for older cars. I also tend to stick with what i like once i've found it. If...
