ballache for not much gain. fairly straighforward to fix a snapped belt (top end rebuild) on the 1.2 8v anyway. did one this week. it's done 155k, and the bores were like new. Well worth fixing
most likely his insurers will want you on cover for 1 month. Probably the best thing to do if it's not silly money
Will dayinsure not do it for over 21s? is it 21 or 25 their cut-off?
The parts to do it properly cost more than that. Gasket set (only ever use genuine) and an oil pump (never re-use an old one!!!!!!) is nearly £300 alone. bearings, rings, machining and cleaning add up to well over £700, and that's without assembly and fitting. You also need a proper oil feed for...
love them. That one has been for sale for a while IIRC. For 2 reasons, the reserve is too high (i've seen it hit a reasonable price) and the wheels ruin it (it NEEDS the originals)

"better" is subjective.I'd go for the single rear box with a silenced mid section. I've also no idea what the BTB system fits like, for the money i'd want it to fit itself, but as far as the piper goes, no fitting issues, it's a lovely exhaust to fit, some popular ones are NOT, and for me as...
helper springs are shite, and the rear damping and springs are both too soft on the normal setup. Generally they're very good though. For the road they're the biggest improvement straight out the box that i've seen on a clio. Only reason i can see the spring seats breaking is over tightening of...
Re: how do people lower their cars 50-60mm when my driveshafts are rubbing with just
ph1 is lower to the ground than a ph2 for a start (smaller wheels) so referencing a trophy is pointless. Also the front wings are different....
Can't see why driveshafts would be a problem, there's been some...
I've fitted quite a few, but you're right they are rarer than some. Due to just being less pressure sold IMO. Superb quality system for the 182. My first choice EVERY time
try being more specific with dates etc and people will do what they're told ;)
I'm still up for this, and I know a couple of people that havn't posted are interested
he was querieing the point of doing it, which on stock cams, there isn't one. Do you understand rhetoric?
that's impossible on a 1*2. Can be done on a 197/200 though
Local specialist clio dealer that i do some work for had an 03 plate 172 in recently, I said probably worth £4800-5k, He put it up at £5995 and it sold in 10 days. CS definitely drives down the values
VVT is there to make the cam timing a lot more friendly at low RPM so the engine is generally smoother at low revs. Its switched at about 1800rpm as standard
Stock internals F4R, use your current DCOE bodies (Chadil do a manifold for the F4R though I've no idea what it's like. The Jenvey SF manifold will undoubtable be better quality) Catcams 421s. Done. Should see you at about 210-215
Keep the de-phaser in this instance IMO. You can get non vvt...
