you're not just smoothing though, you're re-shaping and it has to be the right shape. IT's not just a case of honk it out to the size of the gasket. If you do that the castings may aswell go in the bin
pricey, but i guess some places have a min 1 hour charge (does take a little while to put it on the ramp etc) just did one on my 205 gti (same as a drum rear clio!!) and it was a 20 minute job all in

better contract ratio but still pretty damn basic set. good spec apart from that for the money. All things relative, for a bedroom TV there's plenty under £200

bit of a bargain for a bedroom set. Not the best ever made but it's decent. There's a full Hd technika 22" for £169 at the moment, proper 1080p, but the contract ratio is POOR
Forte stuff is spot on. I'm very hesitant about using a flush on VERY neglected engines. It's good when an oil change has been left late and the oil is very dirty, but if there's a lot of dirt and carbon in there you'll loosen that and it can potentially do more damage than good. A few oil...
Good points well made. I got 4-pots purely for the fade issues I was having (not on a clio ;) ) A fun drive across Milton Keynes would only last me 2 roundabouts and i'd have to be back to cruising or have a pedal through the floor to stop.
Also worth noting you'll get better pad and disk life...
those manifold gaskets look a bit poop (having uses similar before ;) ). Headgasket is probably fine. If you can't afford genuine, I'd suggest Victor-Reinz gaskets as VERY high quality
cooked that good and proper. Not too bad an engine to do the headgasket on, but the head will be warped as you didn't stop, so a skim will be needed. not such a bad job to do really
