    they are unlikely to have touched it, you dont have to remove it when you do the cambelt. I will always contact a customer if theirs is leaking, when i do a cambelt, as it's just an extra 1 hour to sort it

    do you have cam timing tools? sealing the cover is the simple bit, it's just a little extra on top of doing the cambelt

    sounds more like a fault with the temp sensor or related wiring. Either that or you're really low on water or have a huge airlock
