doesn't aid driving sideways? Where did i mention drifting?The problem is it makes the back wobble all over the place. I dont Drift BTW, but i have worked on more than a few Nissans.
We've found exhausts only make a real difference when you've done something notable to the engine (still see a couple of hp gain) If you dont fit a free'er flowing exhaust, but go for cams, ITBs etc you'll be holding the mods back from their potential

nothing wrong with using diesel oil in a petrol engine, they just tend to be different grades with a few more detergents.
The problem doesn't sound like it's anything to do with the oil though
Find a space saver from another car if you want more room. My car came with a full size wheel in a half depth wheel well, so you get a big bulge in the boot. I got a spacesaver from a skyline when i changed to 5 stud hubs (200sx BTW so no good to you directly ;) )
