that's the stuff
a very small amount under the head of each leaking bolt, and re-torque to 12Nm
Re-seal the oil separator/breather box too. Laingos had been POURING out straight into the sparkplug recesses
ported/polished blah blah..... terms that can mean whatever you want, and usually mean not much. The inlet and exhaust ports are reworked to a spec we've devised, 3 angle seats, softened chamber, Catcams valve springs and cams. ITB manifold matched to the head. :)
drowned plugs FTL !!!
Loctite sealer is good stuff, just avoid blue/red hylomar/hermetite or anything similar, it's utter shite and deliberately doesn't set......like it's a good thing
yup, engine braking, snap open and shut throttle at low rpm, over run. All good for bedding in the rings. Of course it can be done on the dyno in just a couple of hours (broken up over a day or so) thats what we do on fresh engines
hi
That need to go on a ramp for an inspection really, front end creaking could be a number of things and i wouldn't just throw parts at it and hope, that's the expensive way round it normally.
management light... really need to plug in to diagnostic and see what the fault is, but sounds quite...
