    Drive shaft change

caution not necessary if you're replacing, brute force and a big hammer and a drift to get the bearing out will be more effective

    Rolling road in Cambs?

don't know if they weren't in today, didn't mention anything yesterday

182 MOT - FAIL... Incredibly high emissions

They are the same apart from wire length.

    Rolling road in Cambs?

there's more to that story than you'll have heard, but you wouldn't believe me ;) probably reads a bit higher than some to be fair, but massively over reading is massively over stating it. We'll sometimes use it for before and after to see gains or identify a problem. It's a pretty good dyno...

Clio 172 and 182 cylinder head differences

that was a weird one I'll admit, must have been a c**k up by renault, fitting a megane head or something. But yeah, still got it knocking about

182 MOT - FAIL... Incredibly high emissions

could well be a damaged cat caused by the lambda being faulty for some time

Clio 172 and 182 cylinder head differences

yup, ph1 exhaust ports are significantly bigger. I think the later ones are the way they are for emissions.

    Rolling road in Cambs?

there's a few. What do you want? A power run or something setting up?

    cambelt

definitely no need to take it out, it's not even tight for space really. Aux belt is a bit of a squeeze but that's about the hardest bit

    Dissappointing RR performance

lots of optomistic RR's out there, and people go back because they like big figures. The real point of dynos is for optomising tuning and not just giving figures so dont get too hung up on peak power. Saying that, I think you're a bit down on power. Dyno dynamics RR's give you very good graphs...

    cambelt ???

tis true, there's no difference but the price between a renault or a gates belt. Gates make the renault belts. We use genuine due to warantee reasons but on older models you can make a saving :)

    2 Live does Snetterton

yes, it got a right pasting all day long, and all it needed at the end of the day was disks and pads (which muggins here got to change at 7pm after driving back to kimbolton)

nah, the 5 box is near as dammit the same, but without the better diff retainer of the 182 box, god knows why you'd choose a 5 box :s

That's not what the graphs say

audio people.....what amp for this sub?

wrong You need to look at RMS figures for both the sub and amp, peak wattage means nothing at all. You should use an amp with a greater than or at least equal to RMS figure as the sub,

My cup is starting to look like one again!

    that's GHETTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! check the steels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    starting probs still...

temperature related starting always points me to the temperature sensor. Your best bet is to get plugged into a diagnostic tool and see what fault has made the management light go on.

    Weirdest thing ever!

well the theory of the manifold not sealing causing the problem is sound, but i'm not sure those bolts being put in could cause it
