    yup, they're basically the same thing though. The term is just a cry back to the days when everything was rear wheel drive, and the fan was attached to the front of the engine, normally on the water pump

    AE do .25. There's 2 different types of shell and rod too, one that has retaining tabs and one without. Think the tabbed shells are same as F7

    machine shop should be able to help you with shells, where in essex are you? be aware that if the bearings have spun, the rods wont be much use now.

    starter is a bit of a pain to remove as it's under the exhaust manifold. It's normally heat that causes problems with these things so if it's when the engine is warm, i'd be more confident to say it's a starter issue.
