It’s a long shot, but it could only be the dephaser that’s making all the noise. It could also be the water pump. They can make you think the wheels are about to fall off in some instances.
Get both wheels off the ground and turn it slowly from lock to lock WITHOUT the engine running and the pas reservoir cap off.
I’m not saying it’ll work, but majority of times I’ve done it has worked and got rid of any air locks.
Well when I did the research between the snap on 14.4 3/8 impact and the Milwaukee m12 3/8 impact it was just a complete no brainer.
More power and a 3yr warranty on the Milwaukee vs snap on. I’ll take the snap on junk home and use it there, or just f**k it off all together.
Those cams are proper aggressive and will need proper high comp pistons. They also run solid lifters on the R3 maxi evo in 250 spec, so no good for hydraulic lifters.
R3 is the Clio 197/200 - so it can be put in a 172/182 motor as mine was built to R3 maxi spec (230bhp).
Is it cutting out because the revs are dropping too low? It might be worth creating an air leak and taking the vac pipe off the throttle body. See if that helps.
Yes mate. Caliper pistons were sticking and he’s had issues with the master cylinder, but the ramp angles in the box for decel were utterly ridiculous.
As said mate, looks awesome! And a much better angle for the airflow directly into the ports from a ram air perspective.
However.
You forgot to mention custom steel selector forks for the gearbox. 😂
For anyone else trying to read that wiring diagram, here’s a brief description:
A lot of sensors are earthed internally within the ecu, so for example, pin 1 & pin 32 ignition coil control is earthed internally - this is indicated by the arrow going towards the writing in the description.
So...
Try removing the relays in the engine bay fuse box mate (individually) and making sure the terminals are clean and refit. I’m pretty sure that there’s one that has something to do with power supply etc, but I’m fucked if I can remember which one.
Try and start the car after you’ve checked each...
