Preload for bearings? Or preload for ramp angles? If it's the former, you set it up using shims. If it's the latter, you can't do it on those types of diff. They're a plate diff only job.

130nm for the nut and 85nm for the bolt.

That looks to me like it's on the surface of a seam, so I'd be pretty confident to say that the tin worm is set deeper in than it's showing. Only real way to tell how far into the qtr panel it is, is to remove trim panels and stuff.
