    Coilover Spring Rates (Fast Road/Track)

Excellent mate. Nice and compliant on the road. Was a bit soft on the track, but it was a very good compromise.

    Coilover Spring Rates (Fast Road/Track)

That's a similar setup to what I had on my cup originally when I was running kw v2's. Worked well tbf.

Rear axle internal anti roll bar (torsion) removal

The anti roll bar is welded into the rear axle mate at each end. You could try grinding the weld back and smacking f**k out of it, but how successful you'd be, I couldn't say. You'd also need it in a jig so you don't distort the axle mate.

    Coilover Spring Rates (Fast Road/Track)

What's those kg rates in lbs?

New project. Megane engined RS200 road car.

    My 182 Track Car Project

Some of the 130's had that extra brace piece where the crank sensor mounts mate tbh. I think the clutch cable looks different because the bracket for the cable isn't fitted.

Gearbox oil- Redline MTL or Elf NFJ?

Well it would only be worth filling with redline if the box has had a refresh tbh mate. It'll protect the box a lot better than the elf stuff.

Gearbox oil- Redline MTL or Elf NFJ?

Yeah it would be, but I'd drop it out and refill with fresh afterwards personally.

Gearbox oil- Redline MTL or Elf NFJ?

It's about £18 and you need 3 bottles. It comes as a us quart, which is just under 1ltr. 3 bottles is sufficient though. The Fuchs stuff is around £14 for syn 5, which is a 75/90. Only other option would be the Fuchs sintofluid as it's a 75/80, but that's more roadcar biased.

Burpspeed Version 2: Race Car Build

Twice Tony. Twice!! What's 3rd gear done to you?! Lol

Gearbox oil- Redline MTL or Elf NFJ?

It'll protect the jc5 better than any other oil, but yes potentially overkill for raps use. I'd fill with Fuchs syntrans over the elf stuff as well.

Gearbox oil- Redline MTL or Elf NFJ?

It all comes from personal experience tbh mate. I've run it in a few highly stressed gearboxes, and they've all looked untouched when they'd been opened up for routine maintenance. I also look at the spec sheets for the oils and look at viscosities, temperature ranges etc. If the car is to be...

TomoTek - 182 Track Build here we come!...

My bonnet flapped around a bit, but it never bent out of shape. It was fully deskinned as well. It was tested up to 150mph without issue.

    Gearbox /clutch noise

That's your clutch mate making the noise imo. Helix clutches have been known to make a similar noise as well! It's the splined centre of the clutch that has a small amount of play and that's the resulting rattle.

    engine rebuild parts

Just get genuine renault parts. They ain't even that expensive mate. Don't buy cheap rings, because I guarantee you, you will be disappointed.

Dry Sump F4R - No Oil Pressure

Senders fucked then by the sounds of that. Blast it with brake cleaner and an airline blower mate. It may have some s**t in there - ya never know. We have this happen from time to time.

Dry Sump F4R - No Oil Pressure

Well either go to a local garage and ask if they'll lend you one mate, or try machine mart. Maybe Halfords may have them in stock as well.

Dry Sump F4R - No Oil Pressure

You need a mechanical oil pressure gauge then mate. That's the only way you'll know that you're getting oil pressure or not. Start simple before moving on to bigger issues.

Dry Sump F4R - No Oil Pressure

If the system is/was bone dry, you'll need to prime the oil pump for definite mate. It sounds like the op relief valve could be stuck open, or its air locked and the pump isn't pumping. Need to know if the pump is working first though. Once that has been ascertained, you can rule out if the...

@Scattle ooh ya fucker! That just went didn't it! Glad you're all ok, and remember, it's only a piece of metal at the end of the day - it can be replaced. Devastating none the less.

SUPERCHARGED Alien Green 200 - PROGRESS TO DATE

Finding wheels to suit the car is quite difficult I think personally. I'm still a speedline fanboy though, so what do I know! Lol! Where did you get them from out of interest? Was it from that guy in the Chech Republic? Or where ever he's from! Lol
