The numbers you're after are on the underside of the gearbox mate. They're etched into the casing.

Don't be put off by the BC's. They're a good bit of kit from what I've seen. Definitely worth a look. Spax - your right don't bother. AVO's I've had no experience with so can't comment. Ast's are a great bit of kit. The purchasing of them is somewhat to be desired though.

Rear springs on the asts are 1.9" or 2" id Neil, so you may be snookered. Thread pitch looks to be 1.75tpi or 2tpi from memory.

Opie oils do the redline, not sure on the millers though. The redline is about £60 for enough to fill the box! Not cheap, but very very good.

Redline MTL is what I've run in a Quaife diffed/Quaife straight cut gearbox before and it worked extremely well. Yeah, quaifes ain't a plate diff, but it showed no signs of wear in the box after a full season of 400+bhp/lbft abuse and I used to knock the s**t out of it too.

Don't put it in the box is my advice. It'll f**k the synchros or gear dog teeth, if not both mate. The castrol B373 is too slippery for them from what I've seen of the jc5's that have run on it.

You'd have to be brave and deal with Curtis direct at Ast mate

Coilspring in Sheffield will make them for you.
