Might sound crazy but try cleaning it through with some clean water and let it dry out again. Ive dropped mobile phones in all sorts before but by giving it a good wash in clean water and a drying it out they usually work fine after.

This is what Helix do with there clutch kits. They use a Valeo pressure plate that has a higher clamping force but has the same dimensions as the Renault unit. From TTV racing components was about £270. Yeah they are slightly different, cup racer flywheels are modified to 58 tooth trigger for the marelli ECU where as standard is 59 tooth. You need to get the 59th tooth (the fat one) machined down to the size of a normal tooth to get the correct TDC...

Ive just fitted a 3.8kg billet flywheel to the cup racer, makes a nice difference. Quite an expensive mod for not a massive gain in performance but it deffinatly makes a difference.

Thats not a rep its a V6 trophy race car. It comes like that apart from with a standard engine, £60K is well over priced though.

Just leave it. Doing anything other than taking it for proper drive will do it more harm than good.
