    group n spring rates?

How low do you run the front of your car Sam? If you use the same way you'd measure a dirty girl, how many fingers can you get in between the front wheel and the arch? I run mine very low and I can only just about get 2 fingers in (1" 1/4 ish). Only reason I ask is it will give me an idea of how...

    group n spring rates?

Lol yes just a bit! In that case I maintain my original recommendation, and I'd be tempted to go straight in for the kill with a 500lb rear spring. What is the actual issue your suffering or experiencing Sam? Apologies I've only skim read :S

    ITBs on a ph1

Scrap fitting the angled spacers. They're all SF flange but the ktec dth bodies are what looks like dcoe where the trumpet bolts on. You can possibly buy adapters, but f**k that for a laugh. It'd cost a fookin fortune.

    group n spring rates?

My kw's have 330lb front springs as standard and they're a bit too soft for track work as it allows the front end to roll over itself a bit, but on the back road lanes near me it's very composed. I'd be very tempted to up the fronts to only 350lb. So am I correct in understanding that you have...

Magnet is old hat now dan!! Lol! The latest way they do it is to have a box of tricks in between the digi tacho head to interrupt the wiring, and at the press of a button on a remote control fob your limiter less. The other way is to send your digi head to a place in Europe that puts a microchip...

As fast as it would be with a trailer mate! They're speed limited to 89km/h. Unless your Irish of course. They get special 'unlimited' models. All at the flick of a switch!!! ;)

overlay of exhaust ports ph 1 vs ph 2

I've always done the exhaust ports with an 80 grit finish Chip, which leaves them nice and smooth as I'm sure your aware. I just don't see any point in mirror polishing the exhaust ports. For the amount of effort you have to put in to get that finish, the gains in performance aren't warranted...

Yeah looks alright to me mate. The guy who taught me told me not to bother. He's a well respected tuner in ford circles as well, so I trust his opinion.

overlay of exhaust ports ph 1 vs ph 2

You'll get carbon build up on a mirror finished port as well mate in the same way as on an 80 grit finished exhaust port. I've seen and done enough.

mirror finish is not what you need mate. Trust me.

Yeah fair enough mate, nothing ventured nothing gained! Finish off the ports with 60-80 grit for your final finish though.

No doubt it's torque limited until the last 3-4 gears like the Scania 730 v8 is!

At 300 you'll be fine mate. It would probably only knock a couple of psi off the boost level as well if you opened them out. Have you got experience of porting cylinder heads? If you haven't mate I'd leave it personally or take it to someone that has.

overlay of exhaust ports ph 1 vs ph 2

Yes you can open them out to ph1 size mate. In fact you can go significantly larger than ph1 if you want but it's a bit pointless. It's all in the shape of the ports not how big they are mate. What hp are you looking for? Original ph2 head flows fine in boosted applications anyway (up to a point...

    ITBs on a ph1

The way I see it is you've got 4 options: 1) buy the ktec dth bodies and accept its restrictions/limitations 2) buy the ktec dth bodies and use the angle spacers that you can buy off Jenvey so you can run different length trumpets and *possibly* have no air filter packaging issues 3) buy the...
